As one of Europe’s leading research institutes in Textile Technology, the ITV assumes responsibility for the promotion of young talents in sciences. This is why we believe that one of the most important goals of the institute is to provide excellent internationally-orientated education and professional development based on our own research.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Heinrich Planck, the director of the ITV Denkendorf, also holds the chair of Textile Technology at the University of Stuttgart. The close interrelationship of education, further education and research is firmly rooted in the institute’s statutes

The ITV Denkendorf offers numerous programs, semester, degree, and doctoral theses covering a wide spectrum of research. The FTTM-Denkendorf e.V. offers grants and practical trainings in the field of Textile Technology, Textile Mechanical Engineering and associated fields.
