Lightweight materials

Textile component-based composites have been used in technical applications for years. Robust fiber composites for structural components or load-bearing components have found a wide-range use above all in the field of automotive and architectural design.
The most remarkable feature of all composites is their low weight. Innovative lightweight materials and lightweight design technology is advantageous when saving energy or power because of reduced weight or when higher acceleration of moving masses is the aim.
