High-performance technology for spinning
Staple Fiber Technology research concerns the improvement of fiber processing and the creation of new yarn structures. The focus of current research is on the optimization of spinning processes by integrating innovative technologies and developing new machine components and processes. In addition, new methods for yarn analysis and new measurement technologies for fibers, as e.g. contactless length and speed measurements by means of laser sensor technology, are being developed.
We offer:
- optimization of spinning processes
- test trials in spinning pilot plant for all relevant staple fiber processes
- fiber and yarn measurement technology development
- measurement-technology testing (CFD, PIV, LDA, high-speed video)
- R & D development project cooperation
