Technical process management research concerns the streamlining of textile or textile materials production and processes, their analysis and simulation. Special emphasis is laid on the increase of production flexibility and improvement of reaction times. In addition to the above-mentioned, developments involving machine monitoring, visualization, data capture, consolidation, and methods from analysis to diagnosis are very important - not to mention automation and information technology integration.
