Denkendorf pilot plant
BTO for industry
The ITV Denkendorf runs a pilot plant covering all important technologies along the textile process chain. The ITV offers with this pilot plant prototypes and small-scale production, an opportunity unique in the textile market. Experienced staff, machinery, and well-equipped technical installations combined guarantee ideal conditions for custom-made orders. The pilot plant is simultaneously used by the ITV scientists to evaluate and realize theoretical concepts.
The pilot plant covers the following areas of production activities:
- (mono and bicomponent) filament production / yarn finishing
- staple fiber spinning including hybridization
- weaving technologies
- embroidery technologies
- nonwovens technologies
- surface technology
- technical textiles / medical textiles / biomaterials technologies
- making-up technologies
- testing in certified labs (for product approvals).
