The Development of Innovative Textile Solutions
Combining technologies improves the processing of interdisciplinary, division-spanning tasks, which are increasingly becoming more essential for expedient research. The focus of this integration is on the development and creation of innovative textile solutions. Tasks assigned from outside of the textile industry generally involve developing innovative textile solutions to alleviate technological obstructions and restrictions. Additionally our technology integration concentrates on pneumatic-stressed textiles. It is also concerned with the research, development and evaluation of active and passive illumination textiles, and textiles that change color. A light lab is available for the assessment of visual effects.
